When you call the emergency number 113, the Emergency Medical Communication Centre (AMK) handles urgent calls about sudden illness or injury and coordinates ambulance and air ambulance services.

If you're in a town or area served by St. Olavs Hospital, your 113 call will be answered by AMK Sør-Trøndelag.

    For critical or lifethreatening conditions, acute injury or illness, please call 113 (equivalent to 911). Open 24 hours - 7 days a week.
